Little Sim World: Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Little Sim World (“Game”). By purchasing, installing, or playing the Game, you (“User”) agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before engaging with the Game. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not play or interact with the Game.

1. Introduction

Little Sim World is developed and published by Gravity Games Ltd (“Company”) at 6 S Molton Street, London, UK, W1K 5QF. The Game is distributed via Steam, and your use of the Game is subject to both these Terms and the Steam Subscriber Agreement. For support, you can contact us at id@gravity.games.

2. License

2.1 Grant of License: Upon purchase via Steam, the Company grants the User a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download, install, and play Little Sim World on compatible devices.

2.2 Ownership: The Game, including its code, assets, designs, characters, and features, is owned exclusively by Gravity Games Ltd. The purchase of the Game does not transfer any ownership rights to the User.

2.3 Restrictions:

• The User may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Game.
• The User may not use the Game for commercial purposes or unauthorized distribution.
• The User may not use cheats, automation software, or any tools that alter the Game’s intended functionality.

3. Purchases and Refunds

3.1 Purchases: The Game is sold exclusively via Steam. All transactions are subject to Steam’s pricing and billing policies.

3.2 Refunds: Refund requests must be made through Steam in accordance with their refund policy. The Company is not responsible for handling direct refunds or payment disputes.

3.3 No Microtransactions: Little Sim World contains no in-game purchases, loot boxes, or microtransactions. All gameplay content is included in the initial purchase price.

4. Gameplay and User Conduct

4.1 Content: The Game includes features such as housing customization, character development, relationship-building, and an evolving narrative. The content is designed for a single-player and optional multiplayer experience.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct:

• Exploiting bugs or glitches to gain unfair advantages.
• Harassing, griefing, or insulting other players in multiplayer modes (if applicable).
• Spamming or flooding chat systems with repeated or irrelevant messages.
• Using racist, sexist, or other offensive language or behavior.
• Sharing or distributing pirated versions of the Game.

4.3 Community Standards: The User agrees to engage respectfully with others in any community spaces provided by the Company, including forums, social media, and multiplayer interactions. Users found violating these standards may have their access suspended or terminated.

4.4 Game Updates: The Company reserves the right to update the Game, including introducing new features, fixing bugs, or balancing gameplay. Updates are free and mandatory for all Users.

5. System Requirements

The Game is designed to run on low-end and mid-range machines. The Company will not be held responsible for performance issues if the User’s device does not meet the recommended specifications outlined on the Steam store page.

6. Early Access and Development

6.1 Early Access: Users purchasing the Game during Early Access acknowledge that the Game is not in its final state and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or gameplay adjustments over time.

6.2 Community Feedback: Feedback provided by the User may be used to improve the Game. By submitting feedback, the User grants the Company a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and implement such feedback.

7. Modifications and User-Generated Content

7.1 Modding Policy: Modding support is not available at launch. Unauthorized modifications of the Game are strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or revocation of access.

7.2 User-Generated Content: Any content created by the User within the Game remains the property of the User but may not be used outside the Game’s ecosystem without prior permission from the Company.

8. Multiplayer (if applicable)

8.1 Online Functionality: Multiplayer features are hosted online and require a stable internet connection. The Company is not liable for connectivity issues caused by the User’s hardware or internet provider.

8.2 Data Storage: Multiplayer progress and data are stored securely by the Company. However, the Company is not responsible for data loss due to unforeseen technical issues.

8.3 Cross-Platform Play: At launch, the Game does not support cross-platform multiplayer. Future updates may address this, subject to technical feasibility.

9. Privacy and Data Collection

9.1 User Data: The Game collects minimal user data necessary for gameplay functionality, such as save files and gameplay analytics.

9.2 Third-Party Services: The Game may use third-party services (e.g., Steam) to facilitate multiplayer and community features. The Company is not responsible for data handled by these services.

9.3 Compliance: The Company complies with GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, and all applicable European Union data protection laws. Users are advised to review our privacy policy for detailed information on how data is collected and used.

9.4 Local Laws: The User agrees to comply with all local laws and regulations applicable to their jurisdiction while playing the Game, in addition to the laws of the United Kingdom and the European Union.

10. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

10.1 As-Is Basis: The Game is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free gameplay.

10.2 Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Game.

11. Termination

The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend the User’s access to the Game for violations of these Terms. Refunds will not be issued in such cases.

12. Amendments

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes via Steam or the official Game website. Continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, applicable European Union laws, and local laws in the User’s jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.
